Job summary

Meijer is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join the Middletown, OH pharmacy team. You will provide patient-centered care, fill prescriptions accurately, and support a collaborative staff focused on safety and education.

This role emphasizes immunizations, staff development, and adherence to Meijer policies and state and federal laws, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification.
• Retail/Community Practice.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner and have a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services including immunizations.

What You'll be Doing:

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
