Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Meijer Pharmacy team in a role focused on patient care and clinical services. The position requires licensing and PharmD/BS degree with immunization certification.

You will lead pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and mentor technicians while maintaining strong patient relationships. The role emphasizes adherence to Meijer policies, state and federal laws, and continuous improvement in patient care delivery, including immunizations where

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification.
• Retail/Community Practice.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and growth of the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Compliant with Meijer Policies and Procedures, and state and federal laws.
• Excellent communication skills and act as an agent of change.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Listen to the patient and resolve patient needs and concerns.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, manage pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services including immunizations.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy

Registered and licensed in the state of practice

Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)

CPR certification

Retail/Community Practice
