Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to provide patient-centered care and lead pharmacy operations. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate staff, and maintain strong patient relationships across the Meijer Pharmacy team.

In this role you will supervise technicians, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and perform clinical services including immunizations, while promoting growth of patient care initiatives within the Meijer network.

Qualifications

• Pharmacists must be licensed in state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist as required (Indiana exception).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations and immunization services.
