Job summary

Symrise is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to operate grinding, liquid, drying, bagging and blending lines in line with production schedules. You will document work orders, ensure quality at all stages, and report any deviations to your supervisor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years of manufacturing experience, and strong MS Office skills. The role emphasizes safety, hygiene, and teamwork within a global supplier environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding, liquid, drying, bagging and blending lines following schedules and paperwork.
• Inform supervisor of line shortages or deviations in production.
• Ensure product quality meets set levels and report issues to supervisor.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain production folders.
• Follow waste management, safety, and GMP/HACCP requirements.

Your role

PRODUCTION/ TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Required to run the following production activities respecting production schedules and production paperwork:

• Grinding operation
• Liquid operation
• Drying operation
• Bagging operation
• Blending operation

Inform your supervisor of production line shortages and to report to the supervisor any deviation in production.

QUALITY:

• Responsible for the quality of the work performed (from the incoming control to the final production control controls)
• Ensure the product quality comply at 100% with the set levels
• Inform your supervisor of any quality issues

PAPERWORK:

• To complete paperwork accurately as requested
• To gather / keep track of all the paperwork related to production folders
• Completion of work orders in an ERP system

ENVIRONMENT:

• Respect company policy in term of waste management: zero wastewater
• Inform about any environmental risk (spillage…)

SAFETY:

• Ensure that you work in safety conditions for yourself and others working with you
• To wear and maintain in a good shape your Personal Protective Equipment.
• Inform about any safety risk (spillage…)

ATTITUDE:

• To maintain the standard of work, and work output as set by the supervisor
• Participate in production performance improvements (quality, safety, maintenance, environment)
• Demonstrate the following skills:

• General attitude to fit with Company standards

FOOD SAFETY:

To be fully trained and knowledgeable on safe food handling requirements to include knowledge of GMPs and HACCP. To ensure full understanding of intervals in the process that may present food safety risks and understand what actions should be taken in such events.

About you

High school diploma preferred

• 2 years previous experience manufacturing preferred
• Good communication skills to liaise internally and externally, as well as to assist in motivating, training, and improving the production teams
• Technically inclined with computer skills
• Unrestricted range of motion, self-motivated, initiative, team player, color discrimination, odor sensitive, texture perception, depth perception, safety, & hygiene
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
