Position Overview

We are seeking a Relief Operator in Dalton, GA, responsible for providing breaks to operators in the Dyeing department as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Provide breaks for operators and fill in as needed
2. Learn and follow all job procedures
3. Assist with tasks assigned by supervisors
4. Participate in required training
5. Adhere to standard operating procedures
6. Maintain housekeeping standards
7. Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED preferred
2. Experience in Dyeing preferred
3. Basic knowledge of rules, procedures, or operations; familiarity with office equipment

Skills

1. Ability to follow instructions and interpret standards
2. Basic math and weight measurement skills
3. Basic computer skills
4. Effective communication
5. Lift truck certification (preferred)
6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Lift up to 50 pounds continuously
• Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, stand for extended periods
• Bending, crouching, reaching, kneeling, stooping
• Work in non-climate-controlled environment
• Good vision and color perception
• Work in noisy, high-traffic production floor
• Flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays; work in various weather conditions
