Job summary

Purity Dairies in Nashville is hiring a Relief Filler Operator to maintain, set up and break down equipment, and troubleshoot routine to moderate operating issues. The role processes finished and raw materials while complying with GMP and coordinating with all departments to meet daily production deadlines.

The position offers 3rd shift Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm with Saturday as needed, $24.25/hour, and a benefits package including paid vacation, healthcare, tuition reimbursement, and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Purity Dairy has immediate job openings for well-versed Relief Operators to perform a variety of essential functions, including maintaining, setting up, and breaking down equipment and machinery, as well as troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Relief Operators will also be responsible for processing both finished and raw materials, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), coordinating effectively with all departments, and ensuring daily production deadlines are met.
