Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an experienced nursing leader to coordinate the delivery of nursing services across the organization. You will ensure adequate nursing staff through effective resource management and collaborate with department managers to streamline patient flow.

You will assist the Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in staff development, HR management, and promoting quality care, while carrying out clinical and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing services across the organization.
• Manage nursing staff resources to ensure adequate staffing.
• Coordinate bed assignments and patient movement with department managers.
• Assist Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in staff development and HR management.
• Perform clinical and administrative duties as needed.

Job description

Facilitates and coordinates bed assignments within the hospital. Directs and collaborates with appropriate department managers to facilitate and expedite patient movement. Assists the Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in continuous staff development, human resource management, and in promoting quality care. Responsible for clinical and/or non-clinical administrative duties.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
• Other Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 5 years experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting Required
• General Experience in a clinical management role Preferred

Licenses

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• PA Registered Nurse License Required
