Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support registered nurses with patient care at Temple University Hospital and affiliated campuses. You will work under supervision and help ensure safe, compassionate care for patients.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation; Basic Life Support certification. One year of Nursing Assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1 year experience in Nursing Assistant role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed staff.
• Incorporate the Hospital's Customer Service Program into patient care.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Job description

Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

• Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required

Experience

1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred
