Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Minnesota is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support refinery operations, perform feedstock and product testing, and ensure QA/QC compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or science with four college chemistry courses and two labs.
  • Strong analytical chemistry skills with emphasis on modern instrumental analysis (GC, UV/Vis, NIR, IC, DSR).
  • Experience with wet chemistry and following ASTM, AASHTO, EPA, and UOP procedures.
  • Experience with PCs and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights).
  • Valid Driver's License and TWIC required upon hire.
  • 2 years of industrial lab experience preferred.
  • LIMS experience preferred.
