Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in the monthly MSO meeting.
  • Document and report psychiatric services and activities within designated time frames.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations.
  • Identify and promote system changes to meet client's needs to improve the quality of treatment.
  • Participate in case staffing, conferences with treatment.
  • Make independent medical judgments and collaborative decisions and seeks consultation from medical staff when clinically indicated.
  • Provide Medication assisted treatment with dispensing capabilities.

Overview:

Responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations and prescribe pertinent treatment to clients. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse shall perform all his/her duties in conformity with any standard, ruling, or regulation of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, CARF Accreditation, Joint Commission, CMS all
relevant Florida state agency requirements, the standards and principles of medical ethics of the American Medical Association, and any other federal, state, or local government agency or third-party payer exercising authority with respect to, or providing reimbursement for, the Practice.

Role Requirements:
  • One (1) year minimum practice experience as a PMHNP.
  • Must have a Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Must be certified as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Florida Board of Nursing.
  • Must have an active Florida license.
  • Must have active, or in process, DEA and be eligible for Dispensing Certification in Florida.
  • Suboxone Certificate required within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
