Job summary

Christ's Home is seeking a Relief Houseparent for the Warminster campus (TLP Teens). The role focuses on day-to-day safety and welfare, providing a family-style environment and supporting routines for youths.

Duties include meal prep, wardrobe assistance, and maintaining a structured daily schedule to foster rest and activity. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus (restrictions apply) and requires a high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's preferred, plus PA driver’s license and 21+

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to maintain annual certifications as required.
• Must have a current Pennsylvania driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day safety and welfare of children in a family-style environment.
• Prepare meals as directed by Primary Parent.
• Assist in maintaining children's seasonal wardrobe and identify clothing needs.
• Ensure daily schedule supports rest, physical activity, and social interaction.

Job description

The Relief Houseparent performs the duties associated with providing for the day-to-day safety and welfare of the children. The Relief Houseparent provides for the safety and welfare of the children by providing a family style environment. The Relief Houseparent may purchase and prepare meals as directed by the Primary Parent. The Relief Houseparent assists in maintaining the child's seasonal wardrobe and alerts the Primary Parents to clothing needs for the child. The Relief Houseparent ensures that the daily schedule established to meet the child's needs for adequate rest, physical activity and social interaction is followed.

Position Available: Full-time: on Warminster children's campus in TLP (Teens)

Required Attributes:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two years related experience of training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to maintain and apply required annual certification.
