Job summary

Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown Virginia is growing and seeks relief veterinarians who are compassionate, team players and strong communicators experienced in emergency medicine. We are a privately owned clinic dedicated to providing state of the art emergency & critical care for small animals and some exotic pets, with laser therapy, hospitalization, Abaxis bloodwork, and most emergency surgeries.

We are looking for Wednesday and Thursday overnights (6PM-8AM or 4PM to Midnight) and Saturday

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Degree from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary state license.
• Current DEA License preferred but not required.
• USDA Accreditation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care to small animals and select exotics.
• Work overnight and weekend shifts as specified in the posting.
• Collaborate with the four-DVM team to deliver emergency & critical care.

Education

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Active veterinary state license

Current DEA License (preferred)

USDA Accreditation (preferred)
