Join to apply for the Relief Driver-Tennessee role at DMS Health Technologies

We are seeking a full-time Relief Driver responsible for transporting mobile medical imaging equipment to various medical facilities across our regional footprint, primarily out of the Sioux Falls SD area. This role involves irregular routes across the US with no fixed stops, and requires flexible scheduling to cover leaves, vacations, and unplanned absences.

Essential Duties include:

• Transporting the mobile unit to customer locations.
• Maintaining the truck and trailer, including checking fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and scheduling preventive maintenance.
• Inspecting the truck and trailer before and after trips, and submitting reports via VI through ELD.
• Maintaining driver logs according to DOT regulations.
• Assisting technologists with transporting patients when acting as a Relief Driver.
• Traveling 100% of the time.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• At least one year of recent truck driving experience.
• Must be 23+ years old.
• Compliance with FMCSA Clearinghouse and DOT regulations, including passing background checks and drug screens.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 5 years.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• CDL - Class A.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• CPR, Hepatitis B, TB vaccinations.

Physical Demands include:

• Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crawling.
• Climbing stairs.
• Lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Pushing and pulling wheelchairs.
