Concordance Healthcare Solutions in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Relief Delivery Driver Class A CDL to service hospitals, clinics and regional facilities. You will load trucks, deliver merchandise in a courteous, safe manner and support warehouse operations as needed.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and flexibility for daytime routes and possible overtime. You will work with multiple departments and follow DOT regulations to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise to customers in a courteous, professional manner.
• Report shipping errors to Supervisor.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report defects; maintain DOT compliance.
• Load and unload trucks; use pallet jack or lift gate as required.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including order picking and Receiving.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

We have a job opening and exciting opportunity for a full-time Relief Delivery Driver Class A CDL in our Spartanburg, SC location. The primary role of Relief Delivery Driver is to serve as a delivery driver servicing healthcare facility such as hospitals, clinics, long term extended care facilities, and transfers to our own regional facilities, with warehouse work as needed. Some overtime as required.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for delivering merchandise to the customer in a courteous, professional and cooperative manner; assists customer in whatever way needed.
• Reports any shipping errors to Supervisor.
• Inspects vehicle daily, reporting all malfunctions or defects to management; maintains all DOT regulations.
• Some routes have dock deliveries using a pallet jack to unload and some routes are hand unload using a lift gate. Most routes are a combination of both. When not driving, the hours for this position are during the day, with possible overtime.
• The driver will be required to load their own truck.
• When not driving, duties will include picking orders in our warehouse utilizing the voice pick system, helping in the Receiving department, light maintenance, helping at off site table deliveries, delivering/picking up trucks that are being serviced, and making special deliveries that may occur during the day or night.
• Must be able to work effectively with all internal departments and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must possess a Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• Dependable and able to work with little supervision.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission tractors.
• Flexible work hours required.
• Proven attendance record a must.
• Maintain all DOT regulations and requirements.
• Must be able to pass a road test or meet equivalent driving qualification standards.
• Must be registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to grant consent upon request.
• Must be accurate and have good attention to detail.
• Must work in a safe, efficient and respectful manner with other personnel.
• Follows good housekeeping procedures.
• Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) DOT drug screening, physical and background check.
