Job summary

Sundance Beverage Company is seeking a Relief Driver to distribute Sundance products to retail outlets and assist with warehouse duties when not on the road.

Responsibilities include delivering products, maintaining professional customer relationships, loading and unloading, performing safety inspections, and handling payments or charges with documentation. A valid CDL and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL A or B with fewer than 5 points.
• Able to meet all DOT regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to push and pull several 100 pounds on a hand- or platform truck.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sundance products to stores within the assigned area.
• Greet and maintain a professional relationship with customers.
• Fill, rotate, and price all cooler, shelf and display space at delivery.
• Obtain copies of orders to be delivered.
• Maintain vehicle in accordance with safety regulations.
• Load orders and unload from truck to hand-truck.
• Complete pre-trip inspection of all equipment to be used.
• Safely operate a company owned delivery truck.
• Collect money from accounts or authorize charges; obtain customer signatures.
• Complete end-of-day settlement and deposit.
• Complete all scheduled deliveries.
• Communicate with sales representatives and management regarding delivery issues.
• Assist Delivery Drivers by acting as helper when no route is available.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Relief Driver is responsible for distributing Sundance products to the retail outlets, accessing orders from the load on the truck, loading the individual orders onto the hand- truck, and transferring the order into the retailer’s cooler, and unloading the order. The Relief Driver will assist with other warehouse duties when not delivering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sundance products to stores within in the assigned area.


• Greet and maintain a professional relationship with customer while providing excellent customer service.


• Fill, rotate, and price (when required) all cooler, shelf and display space at time of delivery.


• Obtain copies of orders to be delivered.


• Maintain assigned vehicle in accordance to the applicable safety regulations.


• Load orders and unload from truck to hand- truck.


• Operated hand- truck in a safe manner with order into cooler.


• Complete of a pre-trip inspection of all equipment to be used.


• Safely operate a company owned delivery truck.


• Collect money from account or authorize charge accounts, have invoice signed by customer for proof of delivery.


• Complete all driver check in/out and complete end of day Settlement and deposit.


• Complete all scheduled deliveries.


• Communicate with sales representatives and management in regards to all delivery issues and opportunities.


• Assist Delivery Drivers by acting as helper when no route is available


• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
