Job Opening: Relief Delivery Driver - Shelbyville, IN

We are seeking a full-time Relief Delivery Driver responsible for delivering to healthcare facilities such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities, with some warehouse duties. Overtime may be required.

Essential Functions

• Deliver merchandise courteously and professionally, assisting customers as needed.
• Report shipping errors to supervisor.
• Inspect vehicle daily, report malfunctions, and comply with DOT regulations.
• Handle dock deliveries using pallet jacks or lift gates; some routes involve both.
• Load trucks when necessary.
• Assist in warehouse tasks, including order picking, receiving, maintenance, and special deliveries.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Success

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Courteous, honest, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull 60+ pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Dependable with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and both manual and automatic transmission tractors.
• Flexible hours and proven attendance.
• Compliance with DOT regulations, including passing drug screens and physicals.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
