Job summary

PYP is seeking a responsible driver to operate a company vehicle, pick up vehicles from auctions or private parties, and deliver them to the plant. You will load, secure, and verify the load, handle paperwork, and ensure proper signatures and authorization for each delivery.

The role requires following DOT procedures, maintaining a safe driving record, and completing annual trainings. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with logistics software are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of warehouse or driving-related experience preferred.
• Must meet DOT requirements and possess a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly to pick up vehicles from auctions or private parties.
• Load and secure vehicles on the truck and verify the load against orders.
• Complete and verify paperwork; pay for cars with company check and obtain signatures.
• Deliver vehicles to the plant and verify accuracy of items on the order.
• Follow company policies and complete annual training as assigned.
