Job summary

The Leona Group is seeking a school bus driver to transport students safely between home, school, and activities. You will follow schedules, communicate with families, and uphold safety standards on every trip.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, driver training participation, cleanliness, and coordination with school staff. Experience preferred; valid CDL and proper endorsements required; background checks and drug testing will be completed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand transportation instructions, traffic regulations and signs.
• Ability to report in writing and verbally to supervisors.
• Strong communication with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to safety and orderly student transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive school bus or assigned vehicle to transport students on schedule.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to school administration and complete related forms.
• Participate in safety drills, training and credentialing as required by regulations.
• Implement student procedures to ensure bus safety and report behavioral concerns to administrators.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and notify for repairs or maintenance.
