Job summary

ServiceSource is seeking a mail courier/driver to safely pick up and deliver mail on schedule, inspect and maintain the vehicle, and keep detailed logs. The role emphasizes strong customer service and adherence to safety procedures in a disability-focused nonprofit environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a good MVR, and a secret-level clearance as required. The job may require lifting up to 75 pounds and occasional outside conditions.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Years of experience driving a passenger vehicle will be based on contract requirements.
  • Secret level clearance required.
  • Valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record (MVR) required.

Responsibilities

  • Pickup and delivery of mail in a safe timely manner to customer or destination according to the assigned schedule and designated routes.
  • Perform daily inspection of vehicle (tires, oil, water, exterior condition) and document needed service or repairs.
  • Maintain interior vehicle cleanliness daily and exterior as needed.
  • Maintain logbooks documenting all pick-ups and deliveries and accurately complete mileage and time logs.
  • Ensure that employees/route listings, directions and maps are in the van, and that safety equipment is stocked and functional.
  • Complete accurate incident and seizure reports as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
