Location is Randolph, MA (02368) with 40 standard hours; additional hours may be required based on customer needs. Training and equipment are provided for efficient delivery operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior delivery or driving experience preferred (e.g., last-mile, courier, or logistics).
• Familiarity with GPS systems, route optimization apps, and mobile delivery platforms is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must meet the company’s vehicle and insurance requirements if using a personal vehicle (for IC roles).
• Ability to pass a background check and, if applicable, a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and/or commercial customers as the final step in the delivery process.
• Follow assigned delivery routes using GPS navigation and route optimization tools.
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring accuracy and care in handling.
• Verify package information, obtain required signatures, and complete delivery documentation via handheld devices or apps.
• Communicate with dispatch or supervisors regarding delays, issues, or delivery status updates.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a clean driving record and ensure safe operations.
• Provide excellent customer service during each delivery interaction, maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Adapt to changing routes, weather conditions, and delivery volumes as required by operational needs.
