ABM Industries in Oregon is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties across assigned facilities, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role supports a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, cleaning windows, reporting safety hazards, and assisting with setup for events. A high school diploma is preferred, and experience in cleaning is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
