Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities, contributing to a positive experience for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, trash removal, window cleaning, and proper storage of supplies; you will report safety hazards and assist with event setup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling per policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
