Job summary

Tri County Transportation Inc. is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver to transport students on a set morning and afternoon route. The role includes pre-trip inspections, DOT compliance, post-route checks, and ensuring student safety.

We require a CDL Class B with school bus passenger and air brake endorsements or willingness to complete our CDL training, plus a valid license and clean driving record. MVR/background checks and DOT physicals are part of the process. Training for CDL is provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with school bus passenger and air brake endorsements required or willingness to complete our CDL training.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Pass MVR, background checks, clearances, a DOT physical and a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus on a set route, morning and afternoon, transporting students to and from school.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle complies with DOT requirements.
• Inspect the vehicle after each route and manage student behavior safely.
