Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering Technology and at least three years in manufacturing maintenance, with leadership and planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology or related field.
• 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, maintenance environment in an engineering or maintenance support role.
• Leadership and team-building skills; strong organization and planning; problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• 40% Analyze repetitive equipment failures, identify root causes, make recommendations, implement correct actions and develop long term equipment reliability programs.
• 25% Estimate maintenance costs and evaluate effective alternatives.
• 10% Assist in the selection and maintenance of software to drive and manage the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) processes. Develop and maintain CMMS system for facility.
• 10% Forecast spare parts requirements. Work with Tool Room to correlate Min/Max on parts by developing critical equipment lists in MP2.
• 10% Assess the need, timing and cost for equipment upgrades, rebuilds and replacements and make recommendations.
• 5% Coordinate with other engineering resources, operations, maintenance personnel and outside contractors to schedule and manage projects.
• Assists Maintenance Supervisor to plan, schedule and supervise services internally for the Maintenance, Machine Shop and Engineering departments, procure outside contractors/vendors to maintain facility auxiliary systems, and participate in safety, environmental and ISO audits.
• Promotes lean, quality; team concepts.
