Job summary

AppLab Systems, Inc is seeking a Reliability Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, perform failure analyses, and apply reliability modeling to predict future performance. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, QA, and maintenance teams to drive Design for Reliability and maintainability improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing reliability test plans including thermal cycling, vibration, shock, humidity, burn-in, life testing.
• Ability to perform FA and RCA with permanent corrective actions.
• Skilled in statistical methods and Weibull analysis to predict failure rates.
• Collaborates on DFR and Design for Maintainability with cross-functional teams.
• Communicates results clearly to management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans: design and carry out reliability tests.
• Perform failure analyses and root cause determinations with corrective actions.
• Apply reliability modeling and prediction using DOE, Weibull, and other tools.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, QA, and maintenance on reliability goals.
• Document and report results, findings, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
