Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician 3 to support product, package, and process qualification activities within Reliability Engineering.

You will execute reliability stress tests on semiconductor devices in an on-site lab, document results, and help with qualification readiness and schedules. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure procedures meet industry standards, update databases, and troubleshoot test systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Electronics Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in an electronics laboratory or test environment.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical procedures, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification and qualification readiness activities for new products, packages, and processes.
• Configure, load, and monitor High Temperature Operating Life (HTOL) boards and burn-in ovens.
• Configure and load Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST) boards and chambers.
• Execute Temperature Humidity Bias (THB) and High Temperature Storage (HTS) testing.
• Ensure devices are tested in accordance with established procedures and industry standards.
• Update databases and tracking systems with qualification status and test results.
• Perform operational testing, fault isolation, and root cause investigations on equipment and systems.
• Utilize laboratory and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
