Marathon Petroleum Corporation seeks an experienced equipment diagnostics technician to enhance reliability of gas compression systems in Bridgeport, WV. You will use specialized analysis tools to monitor engines, motors, and compressors and to guide preventative maintenance activities.

The role requires 5+ years in reciprocating/rotating machinery, proficiency with Windrock Analyzer, and travel as needed. A valid driver’s license and strong data documentation skills are essential.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with reciprocating and rotating machinery repair and/or machinery diagnostics.
• Thorough understanding of the mechanical aspects of gas compression equipment and their support systems.
• Experience with Caterpillar and Ariel engines is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supports evaluation of scope and timing of preventative maintenance using engine/motor/compressor analysis equipment, vibration equipment, and borescopes.
• Maintains records of engine/compressor analysis.
• Provides condition-based corrective action recommendations to resolve operational problems on gas compression equipment.
• Calibrates and maintains analytical equipment.
• Travels as required; must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company.
