Job summary

Leprino Foods Company in Greeley, CO is seeking a Reliability Technician to perform preventive maintenance and partner with production teams to minimize downtime. You will participate on the hazmat response team and support 24/7 operations with 12.5-hour shifts.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar role, an associate/2-year maintenance degree, and experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and reading schematics.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Associate degree or two-year degree in maintenance or related field.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, electrical controls, and reading schematics.
• Knowledge of valves and mechanical processes; dairy/food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with email, internet, Microsoft Office; CMMS experience (e.g. SAP, Maximo).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and activities.
• Train and develop maintenance best practices and technical skills.
• Use predictive tools (vibration, thermal imaging, oil analysis, ultrasonic) to complete work orders.
• Perform basic thermography and ultrasonic leak inspections.
• Follow GMP and maintain 5S and clean work areas.
• Ensure product safety, regulatory, and quality requirements per plans.

Job Summary: The Reliability Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance The Reliability Technician I works closely with the maintenance technicians and production teams to determine potential equipment downtime and to implement preventative solutions. This position participates on the hazmat response team.

The Greeley Team is seeking a Reliability Technician to help us achieve our goals.

We Ask Of You To:

• Trouble shoot equipment to discover root cause, implement solution, and verify corrective actions.
• Continuous improvement projects and activities.
• Training and developing maintenance best practices and technical skills.
• Use predictive tools including vibration analysis, thermal imaging, oil analysis results, and ultra-sonic to complete assigned work orders and troubleshoot equipment.
• Perform basic thermography routes using thermal imaging camera.
• Identify potential failures using thermal imaging.
• Perform basic ultrasonic leak detection area inspections.
• Follow company’s good manufacturing practices. Maintain housekeeping in area and maintain 5S standards.
• This position is responsible and accountable to ensure product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and company policies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and required overtime to support a 24 hour/7 day operation.
• Must be able to work 12.5 hour scheduled shifts.
• Ability to repeatedly lift throughout the entire shift meeting minimal lift requirements.
• Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs and work at extreme heights.
• Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices.
• Ability to maintain a clean work area according to good manufacturing processes.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and cold areas and tight spaces.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shifts.
• Skills to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.

Lifting Requirements:

• 75 lbs from Floor to 72"
• Daily Stair climbing

PreferredQualifications (Education & Experience):

• At least two years experience in a similar role
• Associates or two-year degree in a maintenance related field
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, electrical controls, and schematic reading
• Knowledge of valves and mechanical processes
• Dairy/food manufacturing experience; knowledge of government and industrial regulations (e.g. PSM, OSHA, and USDA)
• Computer proficiency in email, internet Microsoft Office software, and computerized maintenance management systems (e.g. SAP, Maximo)
