Job summary

Arconic Corporation is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist-Asset Integrity in Lafayette, IN to lead predictive maintenance initiatives and drive reliability across aluminum extrusion processes. The role supports capital improvements and uptime with hands-on engineering expertise.

The candidate will work with maintenance and production teams to implement 6S PM enhancements, RCFA-triggered reporting, and KPI-driven improvements, including safety, quality, and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Must be willing to work off-shift when needed.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Improve equipment reliability, maintainability, and production output using preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance events and projects.
• Provide hands-on technical support and root-cause troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret process sheets and blueprints.
• Develop and maintain maintenance documentation (FMEA, control plan, downtime reporting).
• Lead cross-functional teams in root-cause analysis and problem solving.
• Develop lubrication program and ensure proper storage and usage.
• Review oil analysis and vibration reports to propose corrective actions.
