Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in Clinton, Iowa is seeking a Reliability Manager to lead the maintenance and reliability program at the Clinton facility. You will drive step-change improvements, deploy reliability strategies, and champion proactive maintenance across assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; 10+ years of R&M experience.
  • 5+ years experience managing direct reports.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies, RCA/FMEA.
  • Proven project management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication, safety-minded.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy the equipment reliability strategy.
  • Develop asset management strategy aligned with business needs.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and reliability teams.
  • Define reliability metrics and KPI's to drive improvements.
  • Coach and develop direct reports through regular mentoring.
  • Lead Losses to Action (L2A) projects to reduce downtime.
  • Serve as primary contact for RCM initiatives at the site scope.

They are considered a leader in the operations management team and are responsible for driving step change improvement of plant reliability while also championing the continued move from reactive to proactive maintenance. They will apply their knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets and maintenance and reliability processes and strategies.**Job Responsibilities:*** Deploy the equipment reliability strategy* Supports development of asset management strategy that aligns with business needs* Supports the maintenance organization with clear roles and responsibilities.* Supports plant maintenance team to optimize plant resources to improve efficiencies through reliability processes.* Ensure a deep understanding of current standard methodologies (reliability elements) in the reliability and maintenance industry and deploy those agreed upon standards* Define and drive reliability metrics and KPI's in support of operational goals while improving safety, quality, delivery and cost* Utilizes downtime and cost data to prioritize improvement opportunities around equipment reliability and organization efficiency* Provide technical support to the plant maintenance department* Identify continuous improvement projects and develop business cases in collaboration with plant maintenance team* Effective usage of maintenance planning, scheduling and execution processes using ADM's chosen computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)* Sets priorities and expectations for all direct reports* Responsible for the growth and development of all direct reports.
