This includes using technical knowledge and communication skills to ensure that safety, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.**Job Responsibilities:*** Work with company expertise and technology partners. Apply innovative approaches as joint effort with Production and Maintenance* Assist new product development and new technology assessment* Support capital projects and startups, including the ten core Process Engineering competencies* Develop process simulation models to fundamentally understand and benchmark performance* Partner with Production to implement and transfer advanced process control (APC) and optimization applications* Act as a resource and networking point for engineering colleagues through coaching, mentoring, and training* Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop standard plant performance metrics and maximize shareholder value* Drive standards for engineering excellence to new levels; capture and propagate best practices* Develop communication and teamwork skills across functional and divisional boundaries.
