Job summary

GALLO South Carolina invites engineering interns to join our site for a full‑time, on‑site internship from July through December 2027. You will develop and champion reliability maintenance standards, implement maintenance activities, and contribute to asset care across our manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an engineering program, available for the full duration, with strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
  • Availability for the full duration of the internship (July–December 2027).
  • Willingness to work onsite in South Carolina and to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Develops Reliability Maintenance standards for site assets.
  • Implements planned maintenance activities and owns several standards.
  • Develops preventative maintenance procedures and appropriate frequencies.

A Taste of What You'll Do

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the development of the Reliability Maintenance standard.

  • Implements the planned and precision maintenance activities for all site assets the intern is responsible for, and be the owner/champion for several Reliability Maintenance standards.

  • Develops preventative maintenance procedures with identified tools & appropriate frequencies for identified functional failures of mechanical, electrical, and utility assets.

  • Develops maintenance and work standards.

  • Analyzes appropriate storeroom stock levels, and early project management support.


What You'll Need


  • Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR Engineering Management; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR Engineering Management.

  • Available for the entire duration of this internship program.

  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

  • Required to lift and move up to 40 lbs when necessary.

  • Required to stand for long durations of time.

  • Requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem‑solving skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and team skills and experience managing multiple assignments.

  • Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.

  • Mechanical inclination and an aptitude for design of equipment and manufacturing processes.

  • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case‑by‑case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.

  • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
