Job summary

TAI is seeking a Reliability Engineer for our Curtis Bay facility to drive asset performance and lifecycle cost optimization. You will lead data-driven RCAs, develop proactive care plans, and improve equipment reliability in a chemical manufacturing context.

You will manage critical equipment, track reliability metrics, and collaborate across maintenance and engineering to implement improvements. A BS in engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience are required, with SAP CMMS experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
  • BS in Engineering with Mechanical focus preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP, and data-driven reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform root cause analyses and develop proactive asset care plans.
  • Create and manage critical equipment lists and asset care strategies.
  • Track reliability data and identify bad actors to drive improvements.
  • Support RCA processes and update drawings to reflect field conditions.

About The Role

As a Reliability Engineer, you will serve as the strategic architect of asset performance at our Curtis Bay facility. This role goes beyond simple maintenance; you will be the primary driver of continuous improvement, utilizing data-driven methodologies to eliminate equipment failures and optimize lifecycle costs. By conducting deep-dive Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and developing proactive asset care plans, you will transform "bad actor" equipment into reliable assets, ensuring the long-term stability and safety of our chemical manufacturing operations.

Here’s a Glimpse Into Your Day To Day
  • Conducts Critical Equipment Analysis
  • Conducts Equipment Criticality Assessments
  • Manages critical equipment lists
  • Creates asset care plans for critical assets
  • Tracks and analyzes reliability data on critical equipment
  • Analyze bad actors and develop improvement plans through data driven methodologies
  • Develop Maintenance Strategies by equipment types
  • Supports and facilitates RCA’s
  • Updates Engineering Drawings and Documents to reflect field conditions
  • Supports area Maintenance Engineer
  • Identifies and scope’s maintenance/reliability improvement projects
  • Assists with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairsSupports Purchasing/Goods Receipts/New Vendors/Requisitions
  • Participates in safety programs and initiatives
  • Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) including PSSRs, and Management of Change (MOCs)
You’ll Be a Perfect Fit If You Have
  • 5+ Years of relevant experience
  • BS in Engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineer highly preferred)
  • Industrial manufacturing experience in processes such as Chemical, Paper, Metals, Refinery, Pharmaceutical
  • Experience in CMMS maintenance system (SAP a plus)
Compensation And Benefits
  • Pay: $100,000-135,000 annually (depending on shift)
  • Eligible for overtime pay
  • Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable)
