**[Role Overview:]{.underline}**
The Reliability Monitoring & Diagnostic (M&D) Analyst is responsible for monitoring and diagnosing equipment and thermal performance issues for a fleet of plants using Advanced Pattern Recognition (APR) and thermal modeling software. They also provide advanced condition monitoring and data analyses of critical plant systems and components. The role involves interfacing with plant personnel regularly and collaborating with internal subject matter experts to diagnose developing plant and equipment-related problems.
**[Key Responsibilities:]{.underline}**
- Develop, maintain, and use advanced pattern recognition software models and plant operational data to detect changes in the operating behavior of plant equipment and systems.
- Perform daily monitoring of site critical components with active models collecting data via advanced analytics software.
- Respond to, evaluate, and prioritize alarms for potential equipment issues; interact with station personnel and provide recommendations to optimize plant equipment and systems.
- Support and collaborate with internal and external SME's to assess equipment anomalies.
- Communicate equipment anomalies to plant operations, engineering personnel, and CBM analysts.
- Identify and classify risks, provide mitigation recommendations, and ensure follow-up for resolutions.
- Monitor equipment performance and predict component health, alerting SME's and station personnel of anomalies affecting reliability and performance.
- Master all aspects of the M&D center software tools, including APR and thermal performance software.
- Update, retrain, and evaluate the adequacy of existing models.
- Capture and quantify avoided costs to demonstrate team activity value.
- Maintain compliance with all corporate training requirements, including cybersecurity, safety, and HR protocols.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or higher degree.
