Job summary

AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY is seeking a Manager – Reliability Engineering to lead the Operational Performance team responsible for reliability improvements across AVANGRID Networks. You will manage engineering analysis, develop tools, and present findings to senior leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements include a BS in electrical engineering and 7+ years in utilities, with proficiency in SQL and Python.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
7+ years of experience in electrical engineering and utilities business.
Expertise on T&D networks systems with field operations experience.
Experience with SQL and Python preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholders.
Experience building engineering solutions for distribution networks focusing on reliability.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering tools using current software (Microsoft Office, Power BI, Python, SQL).
Identify opportunities for process improvement with focus on system resiliency and reliability.
Provide advice on reliability-related solutions to engineering staff.
Lead multi-department initiatives with focus on Electric Operations.
Manage complex studies and analysis at circuit level with actionable recommendations.
Present complex analytic results to business audiences to aid investments and strategy.
