This leader will improve product reliability and durability of commercial HVAC products and components, reduce field failures, and increase customer confidence in mission‑critical applications. They will set reliability standards and governance across product development, create component qualification and component application requirements using field performance analytics, and root cause and corrective action processes. The leader will expand and develop a technically capable team, establish metrics, and translate technical reliability risks into clear business decisions for senior leadership. Success will be measured by product level field performance, implementation of reliability engineering process discipline, speed of issue resolution, and organizational capability growth. The reliability leader will partner cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, service, sourcing, manufacturing, and product management to ensure reliability is designed into products and sustained throughout the product lifecycle. This is a high‑impact leadership opportunity to shape product performance, customer trust, and long‑term business results. The reliability engineering leader will help create a strong reliability culture across the organization while building the team, methods, and operating rhythm needed to support growth and customer expectations in demanding applications. The ideal candidate is a technically credible and highly collaborative leader who brings strong systems thinking, urgency, curiosity, and discipline. They are comfortable leading through ambiguity, influencing across functions, coaching teams on structured problem‑solving, and translating complex reliability issues into clear business actions.

Use application requirements to create qualification plans that drive improvements to component reliability ensuring robust components are applied in product designs. Own component specification for critical components to specify fit-for-use, durability, and reliability targets. Work closely with suppliers to meet critical component and system reliability targets with focus on designing out failure modes
  • Support engineering teams during major quality disruptions to drive rapid, rigorous RCCA and resolution
  • Build data‑driven field failure analytics to identify trends and prioritize design and corrective actions. Manage KPIs and dashboards to aid leadership in making informed reliability decisions
  • Support strategic customer needs in uptime‑sensitive applications such as data centers and process cooling

  • Measurable improvements to critical component reliability.
  • Reliability methods are embedded into product development and launch processes
  • Lead and develop a strong, scalable team with clear capabilities, roles, and development paths
