Job summary

Consolidated Nuclear Security is seeking a Reliability Engineer to provide strategic support across Production, Engineering, Projects, and Maintenance. You will optimize asset management through proactive maintenance strategies, RAMI/RCM analyses, and data-driven reliability improvements.

The role requires a BS in Engineering/Physical Science (ABET-accredited) or higher, with 2+ years of experience; or MS/PhD with relevant credentials. DOE clearance is expected, with potential for a Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering/Physical Science from ABET-accredited program; MS with 2+ years experience or PhD also acceptable.
• GPA requirements apply: 3.0/4.0 for BS, 3.3 for MS, 3.5 for PhD.
• DOE O 426.2A experience and nuclear experience may be required.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DOE clearance are prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Defines and implements reliability and maintainability recommendations for equipment, processes, and systems.
• Provides RAMI/RCM analysis and maintenance strategy input.
• Gather and analyze RAMI data; review technical documents and data sheets.
• Lead RAMI integration in projects and plant deliverables.
• Develop proactive maintenance strategies for structures, systems and components.
• Identify failure modes and perform root cause analysis.
• Present RAMI and RCM analyses to engineering partners.
