Job summary

Amazon's Global Reliability Team is building the next generation of predictive maintenance technology for one of the world's largest fulfillment networks. As a Reliability Engineer, you will evaluate, deploy, and advance condition monitoring technologies that prevent equipment failures before they affect operations.

You will lead condition monitoring technology deployments and evaluations across multiple sites, own corrective action documentation, partner directly with equipment manufacturers

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities.
• Experience working with CMMS software.
• Knowledge of performance metrics such as OEE, downtime, throughput, or quality.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
• Experience in reliability/maintenance environments.
• Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions.
• 1+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Experience in building launch readiness frameworks and scalable deployment mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Lead condition monitoring technology deployments and evaluations across multiple sites, owning each project end-to-end.
• Synthesize sensor, platform, and equipment data into actionable findings and write corrective action documentation.
• Diagnose issues in multi-technology systems using structured root-cause analysis and lean methods.
• Define project KPIs, track timelines, and communicate progress to leadership.
• Partner with manufacturers and field reliability stakeholders; serve as primary contact.
• Develop solutions from customer needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Present status, findings, and recommendations to program leadership in reviews.
• Mentor junior team members and document improvements for re-use.
