SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer in Valmy, NV, to provide technical support to the Open Pit Division. You will lead analytical efforts to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency while developing strategies for maintenance improvement.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of reliability engineering experience in mining, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The position offers full-time hours with a 4-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years practical reliability engineering experience in a mining or related maintenance field.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions as needed.
• Excelled proficiency with computer skills and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Open Pit Division in the form of Data Analysis and Failure Analysis.
• Lead root cause failure analysis for major component failures on key open pit equipment.
• Maximize maintenance efficiency to ensure maximum cost benefit.
