Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Reliability Engineer to identify and manage asset reliability risks impacting plant operations. The role includes leading maintenance programs, driving risk reduction, and standardizing planning processes to optimize uptime and cost efficiency.

The engineer will lead preventative/predictive maintenance, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with operations to ensure asset data quality and lifecycle improvements across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or technical environment.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong experience with vibration data collection/analysis and thermography.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety requirements and educate team on safe operations.
• Track production losses and identify cost-saving resolutions.
• Develop and implement plans to reduce losses via root cause analysis.
• Drive risk reduction projects across EH&S, asset capability, quality, and production.
• Design and install stages of projects for new or modified assets.
• Provide reliable equipment data and valid work plans for hourly planners.
• Mentor and develop team members and maintain documented plans.
