Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) seeks a Mechanical Engineer focused on reliability improvements for rotating and fixed equipment. You will perform technical troubleshooting, analyze failures, and justify projects with life cycle cost assessments, including DSP development.

Responsibilities

Provides technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems for rotating and fixed equipment.
Uses reliability analytics, failure evaluations and cost analysis to improve equipment reliability.
Writes PRFs for reliability projects including life cycle cost analysis and DSP development.
Champions Management of Change (MOC) for the work scope.
Helps establish equipment monitoring plans and control limits.
Ensures repairs meet OEM specifications.
