This is a hands-on Reliability Test & Failure Analysis Engineering position focused on validating the performance, robustness, and reliability of complex electro-mechanical semiconductor equipment. You'll lead reliability testing, root cause investigations, lab asset ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

Description
- Develop, design, and execute reliability test methods, procedures, and validation plans for new and existing products.
- Take ownership of assigned products and test platforms to ensure ongoing functionality, reliability, and performance validation throughout development.
- Act as the technical owner for reliability test stands, lab equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
- Define testing equipment requirements, capabilities, and configurations to support engineering objectives.
- Maintain hardware, software, instrumentation, and documentation associated with testing systems.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules, upgrades, calibration activities, and future equipment replacement strategies.
- Troubleshoot test failures, instrumentation issues, and data acquisition challenges.
- Partner with hardware, software, quality, and product engineering teams to continuously improve test methodologies.
- Develop and execute environmental, functional, and reliability testing programs.
- Design and build test fixtures and bench-top validation setups as required.
- Conduct detailed failure analysis investigations on electro-mechanical systems and components.
- Analyze product failures, diagnostics, logs, and performance data to identify root causes.
- Validate corrective and preventative actions to eliminate recurring issues.
- Generate detailed technical reports documenting findings, root causes, and recommendations.
- Identify potential failure modes and reliability risks prior to product release.
- Support DFMEA activities and recommend design improvements during product development.
- Oversee laboratory test assets including environmental chambers, vibration systems, test stands, and analysis equipment.
- Coordinate testing schedules and resource utilization across multiple engineering teams.
- Perform reliability risk assessments and support product qualification efforts.
- Ensure all testing, calibration, and failure analysis documentation remains accurate and compliant.

Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, failure analysis, testing, or electrical/mechanical design.
- Experience working with semiconductor equipment, robotics, automation systems, or other complex electro-mechanical products.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause investigation skills.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on laboratory and testing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
