Job summary

Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky seeks a Manufacturing Reliability Engineer to lead maintenance reliability across Manufacturing, driving safety, quality, service, and cost through continuous improvement.

You'll develop detailed PMs with maintenance techs and OEMs, contribute to a 5-year CAPEX plan, track downtime, update asset data, and ensure parts availability; you will collaborate with plant teams to sustain 95% uptime, deliver reliable equipment, and support safe, cost-efficient

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Autodesk Fusion 360)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Strong planning and organizational skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

Responsibilities

Achieve 95% uptime and improve KPI performance
Develop PMs for Manufacturing with maintenance technicians and OEMs
Assist in 5-year CAPEX planning for Buffalo Trace Distillery
Track monthly downtime and implement reduction plans
Update asset information and inventory parts; coordinate with maintenance planner
Ensure product meets quality standards, is delivered on time and within budget
Develop a personal development plan with Manager to improve skills
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends in parts spend
Lead root-cause analyses to drive solutions
Develop and update SOPs for MRO inventory and preventive maintenance
