Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with safety-critical hardware & software in defense or aerospace.
• FMEA/FMECA, predictive modeling, Weibull analysis, Fault Tree Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review system block diagrams, interface control documents, and schematics for compliance and redundancy.
• Lead FMEA and FTA efforts with cross-functional teams to implement design improvements.
• Perform predictive reliability analysis using MIL standards and project requirements.
• Develop and execute Qualification and Validation Test plans for production readiness in collaboration with Test Engineering.
• Work with Quality and Manufacturing to refine assembly and testing processes to improve build reliability.
• Develop Maintainability prediction models and support Preventative Maintenance planning.
• Perform Weibull analysis to predict failures and identify trends from data.
• Lead failure investigations from design validation, production testing, and field returns to drive CAPAs.
• Support Development Milestone Reviews with entry/exit criteria for design transitions.
• Develop and implement standardized reliability processes and tooling across design, manufacturing, and deployment operations.
