Job summary

Golden Aluminum in Fort Lupton, Colorado, is seeking a Reliability Engineer to ensure the design, reliability, and performance of our aluminum rolling mill. You will design, develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment assessments and condition monitoring, collaboration with maintenance and operations teams, and KPI development to measure reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in maintenance/engineering.
• Experience with reliability engineering, predictive maintenance and condition-based monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work extra hours and respond to maintenance emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement maintenance and reliability programs to keep the rolling mill running.
• Conduct equipment assessments and condition monitoring to identify potential failures.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
• Develop and manage KPIs to measure reliability and provide updates to management.
• Provide troubleshooting and corrective actions for equipment issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and support.
