CBRE is seeking a Reliability Engineer to advance asset reliability through Predictive Maintenance (PdM), condition monitoring, and reliability best practices across sites. As a CBRE Reliability Engineer, you will support assetreliability and performance through Predictive Maintenance (PdM), conditionmonitoring, and reliability best practices. A critical part of this role isdelivering PdM training, technical coaching, and hands‑on support to buildtechnician capability across the network. This role requires up to 75% travelto support site reliability and training needs.
Serve as a key resource for PredictiveMaintenance (PdM) training and capability development across supported sites.Deliver and support technical training on PdM technologies, tools, andstandardized processes.
Provide hands‑on coaching and technical guidancein condition-based and predictive maintenance practices, including vibrationanalysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis, and other applicabletechnologies.
Support the development, standardization, andcontinuous improvement of PdM training materials, procedures, assessments, andtechnical competency programs.
Partner with Reliability, Operations,Maintenance, and Training teams to identify skill gaps and improve techniciancapability in equipment condition monitoring, fault identification,diagnostics, and early failure detection.
Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine anasset's maintenance plan. Provide technical support to the site for mechanicalequipment and fixed assets.
Work with engineering and operations teams toperform the evaluation of assets.
Develop risk management plans that willanticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that couldadversely impact plant operations.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routinetechnical service and equipment problems.
Identify faults and symptoms using establishedprocesses and procedures.
Ensure all established policies and proceduresare maintained. Maintain documentation of routine maintenance schedules, systemconfigurations, applications, and technical reference materials.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principlesand techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provideinnovative solutions.
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of ownjob discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within thefunction.
Solve complex problems by taking a newperspective on existing solutions.
Exercise judgment based on the analysis ofmultiple sources of information.
Impact a range of customer, operational, projector service activities within own team and other related teams.
Work within broad guidelines and policies.
Explain difficult or sensitive information andwork to build consensus and convinces to reach agreement.
High School Diploma, GED, or trade schooldiploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered Prior shift leaderor supervisory experience preferred.
Meet the physical requirements of this roleincluding stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the abilityto lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to exercise judgment based on theanalysis of multiple sources of information.
Willingness to take a new perspective onexisting solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with an advancedinquisitive mindset.
Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculatemildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and otherfinancial-related calculations.
This role requires the ability to travel up to75%, including travel to various sites and business locations as needed.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Reliability Engineer position is $100,000 annually [or $48.07 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Reliability Engineer position is $115,000 annually [or $55.28 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
