Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Reliability Engineer to join our client's product development team focused on advancing next-generation control systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is confident working both independently and alongside cross-functional teams. The selected candidate will play a key role in evaluating system reliability, driving root-cause analysis, and shaping product improvements that enhance performance in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Reliability Evaluation & Analysis
- Gather, interpret, and report reliability data from in-house testing, external labs, and customer field sites.
- Perform detailed analyses including root cause, Pareto trending, and system-level failure assessments.
- Develop and publish internal reliability reports, clearly presenting findings and recommendations.
Product Development Support
- Collaborate closely with design engineers—including software teams—to eliminate failure modes and strengthen product robustness.
- Participate in design reviews and influence decisions that improve long-term reliability.
- Draft test plans, procedures, and documentation to support ongoing development and validation efforts.
Cross-Functional & Customer Collaboration
- Work with customers and suppliers to gather insights, resolve issues, and communicate reliability performance.
- Prepare and deliver customer-facing reliability reports with professionalism and clarity.
- Lead discussions that drive continuous reliability improvement across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Reliability Engineering or equivalent field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reliability engineering role.
- Proven ability to write clear test plans, procedures, and technical reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
- Based in the metro Phoenix area.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
