Your Role

The incumbent is responsible for improving equipment reliability and maintainability across the Pennsville site. The primary focus will be on analyzing equipment performance, identifying failure modes, and implementing sustainable solutions to reduce downtime and maintenance costs. This role will work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and external vendors to drive reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment uptime and performance.
  • Analyze equipment failures using root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead and support reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) activities.
  • Review and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs.
  • Monitor equipment performance using KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and asset utilization.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations to prioritize and resolve chronic equipment issues.
  • Support capital projects by providing reliability input on equipment design, selection, and installation.
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance strategies, procedures, and equipment history.
  • Identify opportunities for spare parts optimization and inventory reduction.
  • Support troubleshooting of critical equipment and systems across the facility.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Promote best practices in maintenance and reliability across the site.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to Maintenance and Operations personnel.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of CMMS (e.g., Blue Mountain, MaintStar or SAP PM).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain close communication with site and corporate engineering teams.
  • Adhere to personal moral, ethical, legal, and behavioral conduct in compliance with the Siegfried Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to all applicable SHE and cGMP regulations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or a related field in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with reliability tools such as RBM, RCA, FMEA, and RCM.
  • Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environments preferred.
