Job description
Overview

Owen Daniels is representing a world leader in Warehouse Automation with the recruitment of a Reliability Engineer to support their operations across multiple end-user locations.

The successful candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background in a Warehouse/Automation/Manufacturing or Material Handling environment and experience with Continuous Improvement tools/projects.

The goal of the position is to drive improvements across maintenance and overall delivery of the automation solution to the end customer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supporting 10+ customer sites alongside on-site teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with site managers on maintenance strategy and improvement projects.
  • Undertake a variety of lean/improvement methodologies – 5S, problem solving, RCA and FMEA/FMECA.
  • Work closely with the CMMS and available data to identify, monitor and roll out improvement opportunities.
  • Identify lessons learnt and ensure roll-out of standardization across all sites.
  • Lead workshops to drive ideas and rollout of solutions across on-site teams.
  • Manage incidents, investigations and work with management and customers on solutions.
  • Working closely with H&S to increase standards.
  • Supporting new site launches from team setup and training through to implementation and continuous operation of maintenance strategy.
  • Review of CI activities and projects to ensure success and supporting roll-out to future sites
Experience required/desired
  • Electrical maintenance qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a relatable environment – Warehouse/Automation/Material Handling/Manufacturing
  • Experienced with CI/Lean in a maintenance environment
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (Desirable)

  • Remote position with approximately 50% travel to customer sites nationally
