Job summary

MANTECH is seeking Reliability Engineers to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii. The role focuses on planning and directing engineering activities, developing procedures for system reliability, and coordinating solutions with senior stakeholders and Mission Partners.

Active security clearance and PE credentials are highly valued. Senior candidates should bring 10+ years of relevant experience, while midlevel candidates may have 3+ years.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or related field; PE license preferred.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • Senior level requires 10+ years of relevant experience; midlevel requires 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and directs engineering activities and provides specialized training for Technical Engineering Teams.
  • Prepare detailed operations and procedures manuals focused on system reliability and work measurement.
  • Authorize technical artifacts and coordinate the resolution of identified engineering problems with senior stakeholders and Mission Partners.
  • Leads the day-to-day execution of engineering sustainment for forward-deployed detachments and oversees tracking of mission-critical systems in theater.
  • Oversee the integration of novel engineering technologies and recommend process improvements to increase the efficiency of repair networks.
  • Validate engineering After-Action Reports and develop tactical procedures to mitigate theaterwide reliability risks.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

**MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented **Reliability Engineers** to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii.** Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Plans and directs engineering activities and provides specialized training for Technical Engineering Teams.
  • Prepare detailed operations and procedures manuals focused on system reliability and work measurement.
  • Authorize technical artifacts and coordinate the resolution of identified engineering problems with senior stakeholders and Mission Partners.
  • Leads the day-to-day execution of engineering sustainment for forward-deployed detachments and oversees the tracking of mission-critical systems in theater.

NOTE: Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below. Minimum Qualifications Senior Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Midlevel

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or a related field (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • 3+ years of position-relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in expeditionary engineering mission planning.
  • Familiarity with USSOCOM-peculiar health and safety support for engineered systems

Clearance Required

  • Must hold an active Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
